Hi All,
Similar questions may have been already answered, forgive me, but I couldn't find a clear one:
Simply, here are the details for my physical presence in canada for the indicated years:
Year Number of days physically present in Canada
2012 197
2013 364
2014 300
2015 245
2016 253
2017 113 (up to 24th of Apr 2017 - at which time I'm away for six days/until 30th Apr 2017)
Questions:
I will remain 21 days to complete the required total of 1460 days of physical presence within the 6 years immediately before the intended date of application for citizenship of Canada;
A) Once 21 days of physical presence are completed in Canada, would I be eligible to apply for citizenship (at around the end of May 2017)?
B) Or do I need to complete a full 183 days in 2017 before becoming eligible to apply?
Any input would be greatly appreciated.
Kind regards,'
Santana
