Photocopy or notarized copy?

Hi everyone. I'm a British citizen living in Canada being sponsored by my Canadian spouse for PR.

I'm gathering my documents and I'm wondering if I need to provide just a photocopy or a notarized copy of my marriage certificate and birth certificate?

Photocopy is fine for english / french documents
