Photocopy of Ontario marriage certificate

I am getting a photocopy of my certified Ontario marriage certificate, does it need to be notarized?

I sent in just a photocopy it doesnt ask for certified or anything

No it does not need to be notarized

I just need to be 1000% sure it doesn't need to be. I don't want my application returned over something silly like this! Notaries cost an arm and a leg here. 50$ for 2 documents the other day.

My friend submitted his application with photocopy and his application was approved. It doesnt needs to be notarized

Nowhere on the checklist does it say that it needs to be notarized. It asks for a PHOTOCOPYand thats it
