Hi
I have printed some pictures to send with my application as evidence. What
should I write on the back of the pictures?
Do I write my partners and my name?
Please let me know how you have done this.

I don't know if I went overboard or did not do enough but on the back of each pic I put the month, location where it was taken and then who was there always using applicant and sponsor beside our names to make it all clear.

For our pictures we printed a couple to each occasion and put them into a word document. (which I know is not something you did) Anyhow, next the pictures we put the following: Date or approximate date it was taken, where it was at, who took it, who was in it, and a bit of description about what was going on in the picture or occasion. I just wanted to really put them into our story in the best way possible and so I went a bit far on describing things but I would rather it do it now then risk an interview. Hope you find this helpful and best of luck to you!

I did a similar thing to Love_Young, made a document with six images per page and a description for each.

The description included:
Date,
Where te image was captured,
Who was in the picture,
What the relationship was,
Who was behind the camera.

I used Adobe Lightroom as it will make the document with a few clicks.
The final document (a PDF) that contained hundreds of images, was generated in minutes.
Lightroom included the dates, descriptions / captions and page number etc - automatically.

I had sections for general photos, wedding images, honeymoon images and for a separate family gathering (where a large numbers of relatives attended).

Wow Baloo you just made me find another program I wish I had had before this process. I feel like I did things the more complicated way. Ugh... so many things you learn after the fact. At least now other people will know before their process even if I am too late to it.

P.S. On a side note, we categorized our pictures as well.

With my application forms, I also added about 70 specific attachments, about 300 images, 75 personal cards that we have exchanged (I am a romantic), wedding cards and emails about the wedding, and a bunch of other proof.
I scanned the cards, front and inside, placed them all in a PDF file and added descriptions, giving the reason for the card or any explanation required.

Do I want an interview back in the UK, No !

You sound just like me. We had a lot of cards and notes to each other. A lot of wedding cards etc. Everything about us I included and every bit with a description. I was not taking any chances and hope I still don't need to. Even though many say it isn't necessary I went overboard and included about 424 pages of evidence to them even thought we are a US/Can couple. Honestly I would rather go overboard than wonder this whole process why I didn't include something. And I am still saving up so man after waiting almost another year, if they want more evidence we have a truckload more since then. Phew...

Nice feeling though knowing you included everything you could think of though, isn't it.

Most certainly a good feeling.
Yeah, I "do" detail.

I have already started documenting my days in Canada - so I am ready to include them in my citizenship application :D
I have been in Canada so long, I think I should end up being a Citizen two years and four weeks after getting my PR and landing.

I have been saying the same thing or close to it.
My friend asked me the other day if I was a citizen yet. And I thought for a bit, "well darn I will be by the time I am finished". Lol.
How are you documenting your days if I may ask?

I have a calendar application on my Apple mac (iCal), it allows multiple calendars to exist at the same time (less confusing than a paper calendar).
Any time I travel, I note the flights that I took and the country I am in. I have been doing this for years for business and personal travel - I'm a frequent flyer with a sack full of miles :)

The immigration process has slowed my travel antics for the moment, but once that PR arrives, my wife and I will be off to Antigua, Europe and Australia.
The world is full of family and friends who want to meet us.

Oh that sounds so exciting. I would like to travel as well. My top pick other than traveling cross country in Canada and the US would be to go to Wales and Ireland.

I too have a Mac (I love mine, have two actually) and had saw the iCal application but wasn't sure what use I would find of it yet. Thing about Mac is there is still always something new to find. I love that.
