In the beginning of this year, I extended my study permit as I am not sure if I can graduate on time. However, I never receive my new document. Didn't realise it's a issue until I'm applying for PGWP now.
My old study permit expires on Dec 30 2017, but it seems to be invalid as I have get a new one. The website says I am only eligible to apply for PGWP only if I have a valid study permit. Does it mean I have to hold the copy of it right now or I need to have a valid study permit approved (even I may not have the copy)?
Should I apply PGWP now, and explain everything on the letter of explanation? Or I should apply for a replacement first, and then apply for PGWP? (I have about 40 days left to apply for PGWP. I don't know if I can get the replacement within 90 days)
I tried to call cic. Still waiting for a agent. Any help will be highly appreciated. Thank you!
