Hi Forum,

I got one message from CIC that i need to pay 100$ in addition to 155$ by due date. Where i can pay 100$ as they need payment receipt.

Has anyone faced the same issue?
 
Since 21 February 2015, the CIC have implemented an additional C$100 fee on all Open Work Permit applications.

To pay it, go to the fees page:
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/fees/

You're paying a fee for a 'work permit (including extensions'. Go to pay the fees online. Immigration... Temporary Residence... then finally 'Open Work Permit Holder fee'.

I received the same letter. Whats your timeline? My letter told me to pay via bank draft so that's what I did. I'm sure the information as to how to make payment is in your request letter as well. I couriered my draft and created a document with courier receipt and a copy of the draft and uploaded in the spot in my MyCic account.
 
You can pay online, keep that reciept with you and upload it in submitted application section.

I followed the procedure from above given link

I applied my PGWP online through an agent on Feb 24th and was only asked for a fee of $150. Is that normal?
should I be expecting a notification of fee payment of $100 ? or shall i just go ahead and pay the additional $100?

Yes you need to pay an additional, different C$100 fee. C$155 is the work permit, the extra C$100 is something else the CIC have added. As per my post above:

If you are in haste and want your work permit as soon as possible, pay for it. Otherwise, let them notify you

I paid that additional 100$ after submitting my pgwp online application. but I don't know where to upload it. there is no link on my online application for uploading any additional documents.
should I wait for them to contact me?

Hi, no, there were no notifications. I paid the fee regardless.
It's been 64 days since you applied. have you received any updates?
 
No, not yet...How about you? any updates?
I applied through an agent and i have been calling them everyday.
I guess I'll have my agent to process that payment for me as well. I should have applied myself, things might be easier that way:(
also, the newly updated processing time is day 68 days, as of Feb 24th, they were still processing the application submitted on the 14th...

sure. I sent it 2 weeks after you sent your application.
