PGWP - Is an LMIA required?

I am currently on a PGWP and I have a valid job offer in NOC code 2282 (Type B). I have the requisite experience from back home to apply under the FSW category. Is an LMIA mandatory along with a job offer, to apply under the FSW (for applicants working on a PGWP) for it to be a VALID job offer.

Yes - LMIA is mandatory to get the 50 job offer points under Express Entry.

You can still apply for Express Entry without the LMIA. But you won't get the job offer points.
