PGWP - inside or outside Canada

Hi everyone,

I have finished my study program in Canada (the official completion date is June 29). I am currently in my home country and want to apply for a PGWP.

I would like to know whether I should indicate that I am applying from outside Canada or from within Canada. Although I am currently in my country, my student visa and study permit are still valid for a few more months more.

In this case, should I submit the application before June 29 (within the three-month window) and state that I am applying from Canada? Thank you!

Your study permit expires 3 months after you finish your studies.
