PGWP extend stay

Hi guys,

My PGWP is expiring on 29th August. I was wondering if there is a way I can extend my stay and continue working for a few more months?
I had done a one year graduate certificate course which lasted for 8 months, so was issued a visa for 8 months.

PGWP cannot be extended . If you wanted to continue working the employer would have to apply for a LMIA for this position
You’d have to stop working
Which would cost $1000 & take 4-6 months to ensure no Canadian or PR could do the position
