Hi all,

I'm an international student, who would like to apply for PR after completing a PGWP Eligible Program. The problem is I am not able to find which Program/Course is PGWP eligible. Could anybody please help me out with this.

The two main colleges and courses that I prefer are:
* Algonquin College ( Computer Programmer | Mobile Application Design and Development) [Either of the two is fine with me]
* Cambrian College of Applied Arts and Technology ( Mobile Application Development )

Thanks in advance.

It is not the course that determines whether you qualify for a PGWP but based on which college you attend. Check in this link

https://www.canada.ca/en/immigratio...re/designated-learning-institutions-list.html

Generally recommended to go for a 2 year course to qualify for an upto 3 year PGWP or 2x1 year courses back to back.

Having said above the courses must still be relevant to your current qualification, any work experience and how such a course helps your prospects on return to your home country. This just to get a study permit in the first place.

Thanks for the quick reply, but I read somewhere that Even if the College is PGWP eligible, it's not necessary that all programs are eligible for the same.

But looking at the requirements, it seems that if the course duration is more than 8 months, preferably more than 2 years, then it is beneficial for PGWP as the work permit would then be for 3 Years.

Please correct me if I'm wrong.
Thanks
