Hello everyone, I am new to this forum, please correct me if there is anything I need to improve!
Could any seniors on the forum give any suggestions to my current situation in the midst of getting PR?
My current situation: Studied 1-yr master's degree from early August 2020, received study permit and my wife's sowp in Mar 2021 due to covid(long processing time). Landed in Canada early July 2021. Received final grade on Aug 11 2021, received confirmation of eligibility to graduate letter from registrar on Sep 10, applied PGWP on the same day.
Both of our permits expired on Sep 30 2021. Applied for wife's visitor visa inland in order to maintain her status in Aug 2021 because I do not have a job at the moment. Both of our applications (pgwp and visitor's) are still processing.
Now I already have 3 pay slips from a permanent full-time job with noc 1122. Our EE profile was created in Sep with CRS 482 (FSW only).
My questions are:
1. I have check the other posts about pgwp, the validity begins on the day of issuance, not the day of application, am I correct? e.g. if I have my 1-yr pgwp approved in Jan 2022, I can work until Jan 2023?
2. Can I submit another application now to change my wife's status back to sowp because I already have all the required documents on hand, or do I need to wait until the decision on her visitor's? Is that risky to change her status from visitor's back to sowp inland? We are not planning to leave Canada before our AOR.
3. Any chance that there will be a FSW draw before my pgwp expires? I know this is totally up to IRCC
4. I have started working during my implied status, does that count towards CEC? By Oct 2022 I will have accumulated 1-yr full-time experience for CEC. Is this timeline too tight?
5. I have letter of advise to apply for the PNP from my province, however my job is fully remote and the company does not have an office in my province. I am not sure if this qualifies the PNP as the said the job offer must be from an employer established in the province, otherwise without job offer I will not be qualified for PNP.
I know there are a lot of questions.. any help is greatly appreciated! Thank you!
