PGWP and back home travel

Dear all,
Need your expert opinion. I'm on PGWP applied status but due to emergency want to teavel back home..My TRV also expired.
If I travel home, what will be affect on PGWP and will I be able to come back to Canada?
Please help me by replying.

There will be no impact on your PGWP. However you will need to obtain a TRV to be able to return to Canada. Right now TRV processing times are extremely long and you may find it takes a long time to get one approved and be able to return to Canada. That's the one issue you face.

I have plans going back to my country in February but I don't want to risk leaving Canada without TRV.

I think reapplying only works if you are applying from outside of Canada to visit someone in Canada, not for within Canada applications.

Wait for others to comment. I don't know.
