PGWP , 1yr + 1yr program. Am I supposed to get 2 yr or 3 year permit ?

I recently heard the news of new rules from the CIC about the work PGWP. According to the new those students who have done 1yr + 1yr course will get work permit of only 2 years. I'm not sure, if this news is fake or true news.Please give me your honest reviews. Also , If this news is true then, form which date it's effective ?

I dunno, if it were me and I wanted to find information about an IRCC program, I would look at the IRCC website, not ask random strangers. Or is the IRCC website fake news?
