PGSWP Online application problems

Hello,

I have been trying to fill out an ONLINE application for PGSWP on the CIC website, after login with my GC Key. When I fill out the survey, it keeps reccomending that it thinks I must apply through Express Entry class. This is obviously incorrect. I have tried various permutations of filling out the survey, but cannot for the life of me figure out what to do to get it to the PGSWP option for work permit.

Have finished bachelors degree and on study permit currently, but want to transition to post-graduate work permit. If necessary i will just submit the paper forms, but prefer to to online.

Anyone with this same issue?

I click the work permit one, fill out questionnaire - but then ends up telling me to do Express Entry. Which is wrong.

Very frustrated, the online application should be easier than doing paper!

It depends on how you answered the questions under the link for visitor visa, study, and / or work permit.

Watch out for your "current status in Canada" question. Indicate student NOT worker.

Yeah, these are the questions that appear once i click the first work permit icon, do determine eligibility:

I don't see the question you are referring to, but at any rate, i fill these out and it ends up indicated Express Entry as the possible option, which is wrong.

Yes, partly because you are answering some questions wrongly. For example:

"How long are you planning to stay in Canada"? You answered "permanently."

The answer should be at least six months or more. Why? Because you are applying for PGWP not permanent residence that uses Express Entry.

So be careful how you answer those questions. Relax, take your time.

Thank you! I have tried all different combinations though, and still no luck in it showing for PGSWP at the end

4 hours of slowly trying all permutations - maybe i am just missing something obvious and being stupid...
