What is the processing time under the parent, grandparent sponsorship under the lottery system? Thanks

Assume 1-2 years from the time you submit a complete application package.

Thank you scylla. But someone said it is 6 months. CIC website has no info regarding PGP lottery candidate processing time.

1-2 years is right based on last year which is the first year of the lottery. You might not realize but that is much faster processing time. They are still processing applications from 2014 under the old system. You were selected so be happy even if you have to wait a year or two.

Hi Experts, My question is regarding Form 5768 - Financial Evaluation for PGP Sponsorship. I am counting the number of people but am confused about the statement. Number is: Myself, my husband and my son (so 3 of my family). I am sponsoring my parents (2 people total here).
But they have a valid Visitor Visa where I was the sponsor (sponsorship letter). Will they get counted twice in my form ? For sure in 3.A and then in 3.B) iv. - Number of persons included in previous undertakings you co-signed, where these undertakings are not yet in effect (persons who have not yet become PR).

Only need to count your parents once.
So family size is 5.

Visitor visa invite doesn't not count as "undertaking". I haven't filled in the forms yet (not lucky enough to get picked this year. ) but I guess you can put 0.

I applied family sponsors in 2018 PGP entry. I submitted my completed package on May 2,2018. Then, I received one letter saying that, your PGP sponsorship is approved in August 2018. So, I didn’t receive any email or letter yet. And, my question is , who will receive email or letter regarding further final decision (Me OR my parents in back home) ? Thanks!

I received a email notification saying that
Tracking your application option in my portal. It’s saying 8 months remaining. Did anyone receive this notification for family sponcership ?
