Hi All,

1. My dad's first name on my birth certificate is spelled slightly differently than it is now on my passport - he changed it later e.g. instead of Jupiter, it was earlier Joopetar. What can I do in this case? I don't think he has his old passport with that name.

2. Don't have my parent's marriage certificate, but my dad's name is on my mom's passport under 'Husband's name' - is that acceptable?

I tried finding it online but unfortunately couldn't find it - will be grateful if someone has any answers on these.

Hi ASPR,

Just wanted to know what would be the family size you are mentioning for 2018 whether it is 3 or 4. As the spouse income is considered for 2018 do we need to include in the family size too. I'm also in the same situation as yours, it would be great if you can share your thoughts.

You can’t count your spouses income unless you were married at the time. If you were married in 2018 you can include income but also have to count your spouse.

Did you upload a scan of the principal applicant, dependents or sponsors national id?

I just have confusion filling IMM 0008, when you strat filling the form it says to include all the children even if they are already PR of citizens of canada. In my case, me and my brother are permanent residents of Canada both married, my sister is in India and also married, do I put anyone of us as dependents. Thank you in advance.

I don't believe parents birth certificate is on the documet list. (unless you are sponsoring your grandparents)
Do double check the most current guide and document check list.
