Can anyone help to explain/give examples for what one should submit when CIC requests for additional documents for updated personal history. Should be the addresses of all the places I have lived the past 10 years, or what?

Hey. I think it's about what you were doing those past 10 years + dates. For example, studying from xxx to xx, working from xx to xx, unemployed from xx to xx, and so on. I'm not 100% sure. let's see what other people say.

If it is very urgent, please post the actual wording of the request.

When people recently have been getting this request, it tends to say "Please provide your personal history since the age of 18, not the most recent 10 years as indicated on the form."
