Personal claim amount line 300

Hi,

I came to Canada on 8th January 2012 on temporary work permit.I worked for the entire year in Quebec.

1. Can I enter $10,822 for the basic personal amount in the line 300? or will it be prorated in my case?
2. I will be leaving Canada permanently and go back to India in end of March 2013.I know that I have to file my tax on 2013's Canadian income in 2014.While filing my tax next year can I enter the full basic personal amount ?

1. Full amount - credits aren't necessarily pro-rated based on partial residency.
2. Have a read through http://www.cra-arc.gc.ca/tx/nnrsdnts/cmmn/rsdncy-eng.html. You may be deemed a non-resident, and required to declare your January-March income on your Indian tax return (ie. may not have to file a Canadian tax return).
