hello.....if you can help me or you have similar case...my BF sent his application in vegerville in january 5 2012..and till this day nothing from them so i'm wondering in processing times on cic in protected pers. and conventional refug. writes 6-7 months but it says they working on apllications recived septembar 11 2011..so we have to wait till they start working on january 5 2012 and then start to count the months or what.

You start counting the months from when they got your application. So right now, people who applied in that category in early September should be hearing back about their initial assessment.

ok thanks..but problem is... we don't know when is that...i mean we don't know when they got our application because they didn't sent anything...like ....''we have recive your application'' etc.................we know that application is in vegerville. but nothing else

They probably won't send you anything that says, "we have your application". If you sent it via a trackable method, the courier service you used should have told you when it was delivered. Otherwise, if you mailed it on Jan 5th, you can probably assume they got your application sometime in mid-January.
