Permanent Resident and OWP

Hi everyone,
I finally got my Open work permit today Im a Temporary Resident and My permanent Resident is in process for approval .I got a Sin number and now i can finally work.
I have a question though , hope anyone here is able to anwer.

Do I need to renew the Open Work Permit constantly once Im a Permanent Resident? or I don't need a work permit anymore by then .

Once you become PR, you no longer need work/study permits. You are free to work, study, live anywhere in Canada.
