My wife and I just found out that we are currently a month pregnant. Our spousal sponsorship is currently in process. Will the pregnancy be an issue and delay the decision in our application? Or could it potentially speed it up ?

Who is sponsoring whom?

It definitely won't speed things up. Possible it may slow things down if your wife is the applicant and hasn't had the medical yet.

In that case you should expect normal processing times. Around 1 year end to end provided your application is straight forward.
 
Is your wife living in Canada? If the baby is born in Canada, he/she will become a Canadian citizen. Otherwise you will need to sponsor the child also and that may take some time.
 
Yes she I currently living in Canada and will probably be until December or the new year that she gets her permanent residency.
