Hi, I’m filipina who is married to Canadian citizen. Were 4 years together as boyfriend and girlfriend before we decided to get married. I was working in Thailand before and got married there. Our marriage certificate released on our wedding day in thai written, we translated it into English and certified from Thai Ministry Foreign Affairs.
Our marriage certificate thai and english are both certified and we registered them to canada embassy and philippines embassy there in Thailand .
Here’s our personal case. I’m in Philippines now ( my country) my status changed to married and officially using my husband last name .
My husband work in Royal Navy Canadian forces and his currently in Europe for sailing . He have plan to apply permanent residence for me when he return back to Halifax . What are the ways and should to do make it work ? Does he needs lawyer or agencies there to help us ?
How about my side . What should I do too?
I don’t have own savings and properties . I’m afraid these will defect for our application.
