Hi,
I have just graduated from a Quebec university and I have been working for a few months (PGWP). I would like to apply for permanent residence through PEQ, but I have to wait almost a year to accumulate the required work experience. I know that the PRTQ/RSWP could be another option, and according to the self-assessment on the government website, I could get about 800 points. However, the PRTQ would involve a lot more work on my part: I have to take a French test, an English test and ask my employer to submit an application for a validated job offer to get all these points. The waiting period for an invitation through PRTQ is also long, so I don't know if I will already have accumulated the 12 months of work experience required for the PEQ before I receive an invitation by PRTQ. In this case, is it worth submitting an expression of interest for the PRTQ? Thanks
