+1 Blood in Urine is acceptable as per the CIC guidelines. This is what the doctor told me. If it is +2 then they may send for more tests. I had +1 Blood and was not asked to take further tests.

Hi All,

Got fresh PCC and also did my medicals today.

As advised I reported at the Hospital well before the scheduled time.
First they took blood/urine for laboratory test.
They took my weight and height to fill in the application..

The staff over there was confused as they couldn't find the UCI # etc which are not available for pre-juners. But luckily another serior officer was there, who knew how to handle pre-June files.

After checking my BP and eye, one senior doctor did a proper diagnosis.

Had to undress (only brief is allowed) to check hernia, and other ailments. She pressed everywhere from my toe to head.

Then I was asked to take my X-ray.

Everything was fine in my case.

Thank god!!


Take a print out of the letter received from the visa office, photocopies of passport (which is not mentioned in the letter), original passport, and 5 photos ....


I got the copy of the form with my original photo, which I am supposed to send to Visa Office.

All those who applied through agents "Go to the website and take a printout of the photo specification". A few applicants who were there were asked to go and come again next time with the correct photos - which is a serious thing you should consider.

A few travel left for me, So I will be submitting my Passport and other details by Mid December 2012.

pls let me know ,RPRF,should be taken in CAD or in indian ruppees?Bank athourities told me that it should be taken in indian rupee ,if to be payable at New Delhi.Pls let me know ,how u guys have taken the DD(in favour of.........?,payable @ ...............?)

Hey Friends,

I did my Medicals on 20th November. Everything was fine except time. Due to high volume of student visa applicants, my entire medical process took more than 5 hours to complete. The following tests were done.

1. Urinalysis (Myself, Spouse & Daughter)
2. Blood Sample (Myself & Spouse)
3. Chest X-Ray (Myself & Spouse)
4. Height & Weight Measurement (Myself, Spouse & Daughter)
5. Eye Tests (Myself, Spouse & Daughter)

I have applied for PVC and will get the same within a week. Thereafter, I will submit original passports to NDVO with other required documents.

Hi friends

I also got my MR on 8th November.
currently we (me and my family members)are in new Zealand. my other documents like PCC are ready. but we want our medical in new Zealand. as we know in the email they write : If you (or any of your family members) intend to complete your examination in any other country, please inform our office and we will provide alternate instructions and forms.

so i sent a email to CHC ND last week regarding this. around one week gone but i could not get any reply from them. so my friends do you have any knowledge about this issue.

Hi Friends!

How difficult is it to change the surname after we get the Visa stamped on the passport. I wanted to change my wife's last name but now that I have recvd the med requests and have got the PCC, I think it would mess up everything. I am wondering if I could get the surname changed after I get the Visa.

Please advise.

Ours is still under process, when we sent our full documents we got sealed educational marklists from the university (you can request for consolidated marklist sealed in an envelope for visa purposes). You can just forward this to the VO.

We got a request over email to sgo for Meds and submit the PCC, Passport, RPRF together on 8 th Nov. I have completed everything and send it on 21st Nov. It was received the next day. Till date by e cas status does not show Med received.

I am of the opinion that if ur MR letter is mailed to ur New ZEALAND ADDRESS, this itself is suggestive of the fact that u are required to undergo medicals by DMP STATIONED AT THE NEAREST PLACE OF UR present RESIDENCE in NZ..As regard, the massgs. u have reportedly shot off to VO,SEEKING its PERMISSION FOR THE ABOVE SAID PURPOSE, IT MAY NOT BE REPONDED, AS IT IS NOT DEEMED FIT TO DO SO IN VO'S ANGLE OF VISION.. If u have moved to NZ RECENTLY nd not communicated to VO ABOUT THE PURPOSE OF SHIFTING, U OUGHT TO HAVE DONE SO, AT FIRST PLACE.
Anyways,u have an option to so even now. Please write to VO GIVING DETAILS ABOUT THE PURPOSE OF UR SHIFTING TO NZ WITH DOCUMENTRY PROOF.HOPE, THIS SHOULD SOLVE UR PROBLEM.

I am in New Zealand from last three years and first time i launch my application from here in CHC New Delhi Office . so VO know about everything even on my Email MR request they write my New Zealand address.

They do not have my any other address.they also mention in the email like: If you (or any of your family members) intend to complete your examination in any other country, please inform our office and we will provide alternate instructions and forms.

So i just follow these lines and wrote a email to CHC ND on 12th November.but they are very slow. 16 days gone but they could not send me any reply. I will wait just more 10days otherwise we (me and my family members) will come to India and complete our medical there.
so could you please confirm me if i want my Medical in India (Punjab) i need to first get appointment with doctor and second only email is enough or doctor ask about any other documents.

Sir,
I may reiterate that since u are staying in NZ nd lodged ur initial appliaction from ur present place of residence, ur medicals have got to be done in NZ only nd rest of the docs, in compliance to MR LETTER , OUGHT TO BE SENT TO visa office , new delhi. The DMP in NZ WILL send UR MR reports directly to NDVO,HAVING ISSUED U A CERIFICATE /OR COPY OF MEDICAL REPORT, SECTION-A FORM (CLIENT IDENTIFICATION & SUMMARY) SO AS TO SUBSTANTIATE COMPLETION OF UR MEDICAL EXAMS.
I believe, medical instructions imparted through the letter we have recvd,are clear.
U may consult an expert in this matter nd act ,accordingly.

Q - Updated educational documents for your accompanying dependents who were 22 years of age and above at the time of your original application.

Should we send our spouse education document again with originals? or
they are just asking any updates in education betn 2010-2012 / if yes need to send or what?

Q - as per letter need to submit Generic IMM008 /Schedule A/Additional Family info IMM5406/PCC/RPRF/Photos/Travel history . or confusion on submit Schedule 3 ? (not asked )

Question/Confusion , we can discuss and hope for error free submission within 60 Days.

Hi All friends.

I also got MR request on 08/11/2012.

got my medical done on 11/11/2012.

got PCC on 21/11/2012.

and send all documents in a courier on 23/11/2012 and the courier got delivered at CHC,New Delhi on 26/11/2012

So lets hope when the passports will returned back with maple leaf.
