I am starting a thread for the people who received MR 8th Nov onwards.

First of all congratulations to all of you!

Please share all the queries or updates related to MR/PCC or other documents here. This will help move things faster.

pls let me know ,RPRF,should be taken in CAD or in indian ruppees?Bank athourities told me that it should be taken in indian rupee ,if to be payable at New Delhi.Pls let me know ,how u guys have taken the DD(in favour of.........?,payable @...............?)

How long did they say the PCC takes? Did u apply it thru Regional Passport Office? And are you from Delhi?

I have a question. Do they do any sort of verification after the medicals also? And do we need to send our original educational documents also or just the spouse's docs 'cos in the MR letter is talks about spouse's docs. I was wondering y they wud not ask for Primary applicant's docs!

Got call for MR + RPRF + Passport submission

Will go for Meds mid next month...as PP of spouse and children need to be renewed. Will do so through Tatkal

And been asked for updation of docs if any.

A Query: Can only myself,the Principal applicant, go first after receiving the Visa? Can my family follow later?

PPC on 19th Nov

I will possibly try to endorse my passport to show the "surname" and "given name" separatively

Medical test steps

It takes about 5 hrs for all d tests. So spare this much time for a tension-free med test. Make sure you eat something an go for the tests. You would not get time to eat something running from pillar to post. Here are the steps:

1. U r asked ti fill in a small form

2. They call u for:

Ur original passport
Photographs
CIC letter and
Copies of ur passport

3. U r given another form to fill and trust me u wud gt tired writing ur name and date if vith here

4. U r also asked to pay INR 3200 per person.

5. They send u for 3 chk ups now

Blood n urine test
Chest X-Ray
BP, height n wgt, and eye sight

6. Finally the doctor examines u one on one. He would ask you if you have any BP/Sugar problem or if you have had any operation in the past. It just takes about 5 min. with the doctor.


7. Getting examined by the doctor is the last step. If there is any issue, he would recommend some more test. No test/s after meeting the doctor indicates all is well

8. They would give you the receipt of the payment made at the end of all the tests. The receipt would also have a brief description of the remarks by the doctor. The would then ask you to get the photocopy of the first page of the forms done. You need to keep that copy as a proof that you have done the medicals. The nurse mentioned that we would need that paper at the time of Visa. So keep that copy in a safe place.
Waiting for PCC now. Will do it next week. Will be glad if someone can post the difficulties/challenges faced while applying for a PCC.

For PCC in faridabad....

Collect the form in the morning from DC office...Get the local verification done the same day

Deposit in DC office same day...Get PCC next day.Simple

Q - Updated educational documents for your accompanying dependents who were 22 years of age and above at the time of your original application.

Should we send our spouse education document again with originals? or
they are just asking any updates in education betn 2010-2012 / if yes need to send or what?

Q - as per letter need to submit Generic IMM008 /Schedule A/Additional Family info IMM5406/PCC/RPRF/Photos/Travel history . or confusion on submit Schedule 3 ? (not asked )

Question/Confusion , we can discuss and hope for error free submission within 60 Days.

updated docs. if done some course after initial application. write small explanation.
