hi everyone..we submitted our application last feb 1, 2011 and was received in sinp office feb 4, 2011. Last saturday our sponsoring family (my cousin) received an acknowledgment receipt from sinp regarding our application. my cousin will email us a copy of the said AOR tomorrow..i hope everything will run smoothly..goodluck to all of us..

it's through regular post...sinp office is just few blocks away from my cousin's place, she will scan the mail for us and send it trough email so we could have a copy...

pari...i'm under saskatchewan provincial nominee under family stream..if your supporting family is also near in manitoba immigration office maybe it would be the same as mine...hope your application will also be like mine..

as u knw tat my sponsers r in india.can u pl.tell what all documents will be req.for later stages frm their side on later stages which i think will b convenient for me to collect frm them right nw.(to avoid delay). pl. write in detail.

Hey Pari

Once you get LOA , practically there is nothing much you need from your sponser at all except the Nomination Certificate. So just Chill, One thing you might need to work on is make sure you should be available at your work place because mostly Delhi embassy called at work place to make sure you are still employeed there

You don't need anything from your sponser. make sure ur sponser will be in canada when they will call your sponser to make sure they sponser you. Once you received ur LOA you have to send same doc to delhi embassy.....if u need any help plz let me know

Hi Alll
If some1 can help. My friend got medical request n asking for passport. He have new passport but he lost his old passport. Now Canadian Embassy asking him to send his new passport along with old expiry passport.
He lost his old passport 6 months back. Plz can some 1 advice what to do.
1. Do he need to send police report with his new passport to embassy.
2. Is it ok to send just covering letter to tell them that he lost his passport.
Plz advice as soon as possible.

No don't do this...they will delay your case..they will contact u if they need anything....in 2 months you will receive your AOR

To update all about my timelines

June 2010- Sent application to manitoba
Sept 2010- Received AOR
Nov 2010- Sponsor recived call in Manitoba
Feb 18 2010- Received LOA dated January 04 2011 from Manioba :'(

Will send to CEM next week by God Grace
