So all your process completed within 6 months? Howz that possible? Your Med request came with in 15 days and after submitting med's you got passport request within 18 days and visa issued same day?? I thought it will take longer..
Can you explain please?

Dear neo.collin ,

With Gods Grace every thing was very fast . Passport request came on 23/10 and we submitted passport after 10 days but on the visa the same day as passport request was shown . Hope this will be case for all . Passport request date will be same as Visa issued .

I am also from Kerala waiting for MR. For MR I see only KIMS in TVM. Please share your experience with KIMS. I called through someone asked about their fee they said adults Rs4000 and children Rs3000. Is that correct.?

As per my understanding in Kerala we have KIMS only doing Medicals for Canada.

Once you get your MR. Call up KIMS and book a slot on a date, they might request you for UCI number. And since all doctors are with KIMS we do not have any other option also. I don't think you need to specify the Doctor. Who ever is available on that date will do the Medical.

On the day of your medical, go there with your MR letter and PPs, Photos and other requested documents. Check in inquiry and proceed with Medical tests.



Medical result will be shared to CHC online

The fee is more or less the same.

Its better to report there by around 8.00-8.30 am... so that you get the first numbers.... and complete the activities by at least 2.00pm. Keep in mind that KIMS takes care of visa medicals for most of the countries. So there can be quite a number of ppl coming for medicals

From my experience the overall process was good.

I send my passport for stamping and came back in 2 weeks with immigrant visa on it. Then i went to india for my marriage, while coming back on my landing in Canada officer asked me to update my status from single to Married.

Medical Examination for Canada PR at KIMS Trivandrum.

Hi.. I would like to share my experience with the Medical Examination procedures.

Call the Visa Medicals and book an appointment in advance. (04713041312, 04713071938).

#Venue : KIMS Trivandrum.(VISA medicals. 9th Floor of Main Building)

#Three members (My Spouse, 3yr old Son & I).

#Reporting time: 9am
I reported at 8:15am. Even after reaching the venue 45 mins early, my token was 28.

#Documents : 1.Original Passport.
2.Copy of your Passport.
3. Passport size photo (2)
4. Copy of your ITA.
5. Vaccination card of kid.
6. Previous medical records (if any)

Give your details at the reception, they will check your appointment. They will issue a file with three forms and Token number (Visa medicals Token).
Fill the forms and wait (until they call your token number)

# 1st Room.
They will check Height, Weight, Eye test, Collect Urine sample.

# Back to reception and Waiting.

#Visa medicals Room.
-They will take your photograph.
-Verify the passport.
-Submit passport size photos and copy of passport.
-Bill payment (₹13660 for Two adults and one kid)
- Issue Cheat X-ray token

# Back to 1st Room to give Blood sample.

# Waiting for Cheat X-ray as per the second token number issued.
After Chest X-ray, wait for your doctor.

Doctor will examine you (Blood Pressure and physical examination). He will ask few questions like any serious illness, Cancer, TB, operations, treatment, history of any serious disease. He will ask you to lie on the bed and a quick examination will be done (No fully naked, like many others claimed. I just removed my shirt).
All this examinations will be over in two-three minutes.

Time : 11:30am.

Now I had to Wait for the pediatrician to examine my kid. I waited till 1:30 PM for the pediatrician. Pediatrician will ask a few questions (what does be like the most, how active he is, how does he respond to his image on the mirror, what words he say frequently, any history of TB etc.,). He will quickly check the vaccination card, and a quick body check with shirt and trousers removed.

Time : 2:30pm

Collect the Medical Examination Sheet from Reception (this is very very important).

But when I called KIMS, they said they will mark me in Visitor visa category if I go for the test before receiving an ITA.
Could anybody share some valuble information on this please?
I am yet to submit my profile as I am waiting for my ECA. But running around, gathering all required documents so that I can move forward as soon as I submit the profile and receive the ITA.

I may not be able to give a clear reply for your query. But from my experience, all I could tell you is that, at the hospital (KIMS) they would ask you to submit a copy of your ITA.
I understand that you are trying to get all the documents ready upfront.
But it takes just one day to get your medical test done.

They would ask you to bring few documents like Original Passport, Copy of passport etc., Along with this, they would ask you to bring a copy of your ITA letter.
& When u call KIMS, one of the first questions they ask is the category ( Express entry) you belong to ? Or they may ask your Immigration Medical Exam (IME) number.

Whereas they took xray blood urine etc..
These tests are not mentioned in the emedical form they gave us
Will this be an issue? ?
