BTW they at VFS they asked us to attach any visa pages that we may have..I have a 10 year multiple entry visit visa from US...you think that will make it easier for me to get my study permit to canada?

Have you visited US before and returned to your current country of citizenship/residence? If yes, that may leave a good impression to the visa officer.

it will take about 8 to 10 weeks according to CIC account .

still ..... its from 8 to 10 and we are in July . they have a lot of pressure , so I have to wait . the process time mentioned in the CIC website is 10 weeks not 8 weeks .
