Pedestrian Crossing Question Rainbow bridge via AVR

Hello All, Greetings!

I live in Ohio on H4 visa. I hold a spouse unaccompanied COPR expiring in July. I don't know driving.
My stamped visa is valid till 2022 but with spouse's previous employer and I have only valid i797 from his current employer.


I would like to do a soft landing before COPR expiry. Can I do a pedestrian crossing to Canada via Rainbow bridge to activate my COPR and come back via AVR the same day? I would like to know my options.

Also, FYI I am fully vaccinated if that makes a difference.
