Hi,
I will be landing in last week of this February & I intend to sponsor my family as soon as I arrive. Police clearance certificate is a requirement here. I want to know what is the validity if I already have one for my wife almost 1 year ago?

Used to be considered valid for six months, but in the last year I think they now consider 3 months the maximum. In any event, 1 year old is waaayyyy out of date.

no more than three months before the date the applicant submits their application.

My 2 cents.... my PCC from my home country was dated 25 June 2018 and I submitted my PR Inland Application on 26 Nov 2018. I received AOR in mid Jan 2019 and so far there is no comment from IRCC on my PCC.

Going by that I am guessing PCCs are valid for 6 months at least.

I would keep your fingers crossed if I were you! AOR1 does not mean they have checked the dates on the PCC, probably just checked it was there, it is only a relatively crude 'completeness check'.

Oh yes Hurlabrick I completely agree with you. I am just keeping my fingers crossed and praying they do not request for a new one. Will keep you’ll posted.
