I studied in Peshawar from November 2005 to December 2009 but haven't change my permanent or mailing address in the NADRA database (i-e my address is the same since my childhood). Now i am filling post ITA FORM and there is a question on activity history. As my activity from 2005 to 2009 is in Peshawar so i went to the police station there and ask for PCC but they didn't provide me PCC stating that you can only get PCC from your home address. They further told me if there is anything against you all over the Pakistan, your home police station is informed instantly. so therefore you don't need multiple PCCs.

Anyone dealing with the same situation? Any suggestions? and can a character certificate for the university will serve the purpose of PCC in the above scenario?

You have been informed right brother. Only Permanent address or temporary address mentioned in your ID card can issue you PCC. A single PCC is enough, make sure it should cover your time duration since age 18.

Just to update you guys. I have got my PCC issued from Pakistan DPO office and they mentioned third address in my PCC. My PCC has the permanent address, temporary address and other places of stay (all in the same district). Similarly, my wife's CNIC has temporary and permanent address exactly as mine (as wife's CNIC addresses are mirror images of husband's address after marriage) but since she lived at her parent's address before marriage(Same district as mine). So DPO office included that address as well, as it was mentioned on our marriage certificate. So, please dispell the myth that in Pakistan PCC can be issued from temporary or permanent address only.

PCC is leading cause of rejection, so be careful.

Ok. Same is the case with my wife's PCC. It has the same temporary and permanent adresses as mentioned on my CNIC card. Although she lived at her parent's address before marriage as rightly mentioned on the Marriage certificate but fortunately both of us belong to the same Rawalpindi district.
I have read on this forum that if the PCC is issued by the same DPO it does not matter if you have lived at different addresses in the same District!

Correct me if I have missed out anything!

I and my wife belonged to the same district, but as her parent's address was mentioned in Marriage Certificates, so they added that address as well exactly as per our marriage date. I can only give opinions and I would say it is better to get that address mentioned on PCC (if possible). What I have noticed is that it takes just a little more effort to push the staff at DPO offices. They always demand Marriage Certificate for married women, technically how can wife be living at your place since birth when her address on the marriage certificate is clearly different. It may work as you said that it is from the same district but when it is possible to get the wife's (before marriage) address mentioned on her PCC, why take chances?
And by the way, they would never mention the wife's former address if she is not from that district.

True! You are absolutely right! but in my case I think its a little too late since I have already submitted my application based on the premise that since the same DPO is the issuing authority for both me and my wife it should not create any problem but yeah you never know they might flag this up!
P.S. The DPO never asked for my any travel history or the Marriage Certificate.

Boss Congrats for your PCC. Please let me know which one is this Pakistan DPO? in which city is this? As far as I know one district has only one District Police Office (DPO) and you took your PCC from your permanent address district. Again you have also mentioned that they will not add any other district address on that. Then how you are claiming that PCC can be obtained from anywhere if that address is not mentioned in your ID card?

Secondly I have already mentioned here that from Pakistan only one PCC is required covering all duration since 18 years. Multiple PCC with multiple address is nor needed. Single address PCC is acceptable.

Brother don't worry about your application. There is no rejection fro Pakistan PCC if multiple addresses are not mentioned on that. Only rejections I have seen is due to the wrong duration mentioned in your PCC.For example you left Pakistan for UAE on 10th Jan 2017 and your PCC shows the duration till 1st Jan 2017, then it will be a rejection. Otherwise no issues.
