My wife had applied for police clearance in Mumbai. And she got the following message:
'PCC application has been granted on 26/04/2022. Police Verification has been initiated and a request has been sent to XXXXX Police Station, Mumbai. PCC will be dispatched to your current address after a 'Clear' Police Verification Report is received at the RPO. You would receive an sms once the PCC is ready for dispatch.'
She had a call and told to bring all her documents(passport/Adhar card) to police station. And the officer now told that it will be forwarded to Bandra Kurla Complex Police Station where she needs to book another appointment, after she receives a SMS. They said that the residence she lives in right now is not more than 2 months since she moved in.
Her background is clear. Is this process normal? After marriage she moved into my parent's house and changed her address in passport and Adhar card, Pan card.
