Hi,

I have been in Canada since Sept. 2008 and before that I have lived in Iran. I have a PCC from Iran issued in April 2008. Can I use that PCC for my PR application to the visa office? I know that PCC must not be issued more than 3 months before submitting application to CIO. But I think this statement is valid for the country that u are currently living. It is reasonable since I have never lived in Iran after Sept 2008 I can provide a PCC from that time?

Does anybody have information about it?

Cheers

No you can't, the PCC can't be over 3 months old from any country. You will need a new one from Iran.
