PCC from other country

Hi,

I have been to USA for 5.5 month.
I expected to get ITA in March (when my score will increase to 458).
Should I get PCC from USA?
What happen if I don't have and CIC is asking for it?

Technically, if you have resided less than 6 months in a country, you would not require a PCC from that particular country.
However, CIC may ask you for it.

As a suggestion, initiate the US FBI process.
Personally I didn't require it, but have seen other members taking close to 4 months for obtaining it from FBI.

They generally give you specific time...if you cannot submit within that time (give or take a few days)they may reject you.

So common sense suggests although they should not be asking you for US (FBI) PCC, but in case they do (you never know CIC, when it comes to asking for additional doc/info) you should be prepared. So suggest you apply, if they don't well good else you know you can.

Hi there, do you know if it's ok to submit the application (express entry, FSW stream) without the FBI clearance and send the FBI one later? I really don't want to hold up my application because the FBI takes so long to issue a PCC. I've to get PCCs from five countries and all the others do it within a few days. Thanks.

PCC isn't required at the EE profile creation stage.

I know. I meant once I get the ITA, would CIC accept an application without the FBI certificate if I have all my other documents ready, if I include a letter saying I've submitted a request to the FBI and am waiting on a response.

No, As you said it takes long to get PCC from FBI, i suggest you apply for PCC now itself so you can be on time after ITA (based on your CRS points)

I know I asked in a different thread but .. Can you track your report? They didnt withdraw money from my card and I have no idea how this is going ..
