PCC from INDIA with spouse

I went to PSK in delhi to enquire about pcc.
A person there said that if i want spouse name on PCC then i have to re issue the passport updated with new address and spouse name.

And my consultant is saying that IT IS MUST to have husband name written on the PCC of WIFE.
What to do? My consultant said pcc from delhi police has rejection chances

Why do you need spouse name on the PCC? Your spouse will get their own PCC and you will get your own.

Pls go ahead and apply PCC for your spouse separately and give the address in passport (spouse ) while filling PCC application.
