Hello everyone,

I will soon be applying for the citizenship. I saw a requirement for PCC if you have lived outside Canada for 183 days in a row.

Now, my case is as below:

I became a PR in April 2017. After few weeks, I moved back to my country and came back to Canada in Jan 2018.

Between April 2017 to Jan 2018 - I lived in my country and in August 2017 I went for Hajj and was in Saudi Arabia.

I was in my country for 108 days in a row, then 36 days in a row in Saudi Arabia and then again 130 days in a row in my country.

So, even though I was out of Canada for 270+ days in total but not 183 days in a row in single country during this timeframe. Do I still need submit PCC from my country? or I should just write an explanation about it?

You need to submit PCC. The visit to Saudi Arabia was a "travel" or 'visit". You were not "living" there. Your home address for the entire 270+days is your home country, hence the need to submit PCC.

Thank you so much @nerd for replying. so do I need to mention about my visit to Saudi in the application as I didn't have any home address there?
