Hey I had a question that I was hoping some one could answer please..
I stayed in Australia for about 5 years and am now applying for Canadian PR (spouse).
I have already submitted the Australian police check but I did not do a fingerprint check.

I am now wondering if it is necessary to submit the fingerprint check as well!??

Thanks... the reason I am confused is because usually they are not asked for Canada as well... But I have been asked to do it from Canada too.. Probably because the format of my name in my passport is wrong...

So that's why I'm worried... If they do ask me to do it at a later stage it will mean a further 1.5 month delay :(

Any suggestions?
Thanks

Australia won't ask for it. As far as I know, fingerprinting is ALWAYS needed to get a Canadian police certificate. Some countries ask for fingerprints as standard, like Canada and the US. Others don't, like Australia, New Zealand and France.
