Hi Experts,

Please advise, if I have lived in a country requires a letter from CIC to issue the PCC, what I should do or write when I submit my application after ITA?

Please advise.

Thanks

CIC says:
"When you apply for permanent residence, you will be asked to upload a police certificate. Instead, you must upload a document that states: “I am applying from a country that requires an official request letter from CIC to get a police certificate.”
CIC will then review your application. If it is otherwise complete, we will send you more information on how to get a police certificate."

Thanks. So not required to submit this PCC within the 60 days?

The request letter from CIC will say that you have 60 days from the day they generate the letter.

"In order to obtain a Police Certificate, please refer to the following website:
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/security/index.asp

Please note: The above information/documents must be received within 60 days from the date of this correspondence. If this deadline is not met, your application will be assessed based on the information that was provided with your application and your application could be rejected. Please upload these documents to your MyCIC account."

Thanks a lot. So this letter is usually generated immediately afte I submit the application or after CIC completes the review of my application?

No, it is generated after the initial completeness check. In my case, I got AOR on Jan 27th and they sent me the request on Feb 16th.
