PCC before ITA is OK?

Hello,
As PCC takes a long time to get I proactively ordered PCC before ITA..

Got my India PCC - In Junly
US PCC - In Sept

I have few questions..

1. Is it fine to have PCC before ITA
2. For how long are they valid.. suppose I do not get ITA for the next few months (score 482)
3. If I travel to India before getting ITA will I have to get new India and or US PCC?
4. If I travel after ITA and submitting document. Do I have to again apply for US and or India PCC?

Pls. guide me through the correct steps.

I think you will need PCC just from India if you will be returning to US.

CIC website says:-http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/security/police-cert/intro.asp

For the country you currently live in, the police certificate must be issued no more than six months before you apply.

For countries where you have lived for six months or more, the police certificate must be issued after the last time you lived in that country.

2. For how long are they valid.. suppose I do not get ITA for the next few months (score 482) - They are valid indefinitly, unless you are still living in the country - in which case they are valid for 6 months.

3. If I travel to India before getting ITA will I have to get new India and or US PCC?
If you travel to India, it would be a good idea to get a new PCC for India while you are there. If you travel to India it has no impact on your US/FBI PCC.

4. If I travel after ITA and submitting document. Do I have to again apply for US and or India PCC?
No, not unless IRCC requests a new one (unlikely but possible).

I am in USA and planning to travel to India for a bit in Dec-Jan timefarme .. will be there for a couple of weeks before coming back.

Based on what you replied it seems my India PCC will be valid till I visit India and my USA PCC expires after 6 months, right?

To clarify Q3. I believe USA PCC is valid for the next 6 months irrespective me traveling to any country for a short amount of time in between. Am I right?

Hello Experts,

I am an Indian and obtained Indian PCC in Canada in the year of Jan 2015 and my residence is continuing in Canada there after and I didn't traveled back to India. Wheher my Indian 2015 PCC is still valid or do I need to obtain new Indian PCC if I get an ITA in near future? Additionally, do I need to obtain Canada PCC too? please advise. Thanks in advance.
