says

"PCs are typically valid for one year from the date they are issued.

For the applicant’s current country of residence, the PC must be issued no more than six months before submission of the e-APR.

For countries in which the applicant no longer resides, the PC must be issued later than the departure date of the last time the client resided in that country for more than six months."

I didn't reside in my home country for more than 2 years now, so will PC from 1.5 years ago suffice or no? Because on the top, it says they are typically valid for one year, but I've read on the forum somewhere if you don't reside there anymore they are valid indefinitely.

I think if you havent been back to your country since receiving your pcc you should be fine.

However, if you plan to return to your country at some point during the processing stage, I am not sure if that might not be an issue then.

I think, generally, from country of your nationality you require to produce PCC within 6 month. IMH

Clear as mud, right? Wording is a little different than here - which says nothing about "expiring" after one year (old rules).

In my opinion, your 1.5 year old PCC should suffice. But it would really be nice if CIC could give consistent information....
