Payment of fees

Hi,

My husband-to-be will be sponsoring me in my move to Canada, we are getting married in 2 weeks so the forms will be sent off shortly after. I will be living in Canada but i am applying outland through London, I was looking at how to pay the application fees and i noticed it said if you are applying at an office outside Canada you cannot pay through the normal CIC website, what I was wondering is can i still pay on the CIC website as i will be orignially sending my application to Mississauga, Ontario (Canada) processing centre then they send in on to London?

This may seem like an obvious question but just wanted to make sure!

The majority of people pay their fees on the website, so it must be ok since your application 'starts' in Mississauga

A side note-- my husband accidentally 'clicked' the wrong fees and overpaid by about 50 dollars. CIC said that it doesn't really matter what you click on, as long as you send in the required amount you are ok. (1040 for all fees for one person) We will eventually get a refund for overpaying.

I was just glad to know we hadn't screwed it all up, lol! The sponsorship was just approved and that was the part with the receipt for payment so it seems that all is well in terms of that
