hello All,

I got my medical request and was wondering if I should pay my RPRF upfront so that the passport request may speed up.

has anyone done that ? Does anyone know about it ?

Seniors can you help ? :)

I would say you should wait for RPRF email. Because since you got Medical request, you will also get the RPRF email any day.

The process may speed up, if you pay like 1 month ago. But you are so close to end, now paying upfront RPRF or doing upfront medical will not speed up anything. It may even delay the process.

Even if you pay RPRF upfront, they will probably email and ask it for you again.

Does anyone know what happens when you pay RPRF upfront at time of application submission?
I didn't really get what the payment schedule is and paid for everything I found mentioned. I paid online and submitted a receipt, with total sum for application fees and RPRF for my whole family.
No I as my application is being processed, I wonder if the officer would notice that I already paid for RPRF from original receipt. Or do they refund for what I overpaid for application fees, and then later issue a separate RPRF request? Does anyone have experience like this?

Also, is the fact of RPRF request or the fact of RPRF paid reflected in ECAS in anyway?

I think some people have paid RPRF with their application, only to get an RPRF request anyway. If this happens, just send the same receipt again and an explanation that the RPRF fee was included in that payment.

No, it isn't (unlike medical results).

That's bad news for me, as I should have already received my RPRF, and that could mean something's wrong with my application.

Not really. You've paid the RPRF. If they send you an RPRF request anyway, it amounts to a clerical error, but I'm just saying it has been known to happen.
