Paying only the RPRF, without a request to.

Hello (Still waiting for the FBI fingerprint request!)

I'd like to pay the RPRF while I'm waiting for the FBI to send me back my fingerprint request. I only paid for the first part originally, thinking I'd be mailing out my application in January. That was all the money I had at the time. Now of course months later, I have the remaining $490 so I was going to print out this receipt and attach it with the first receipt. Paperclipped or what have you.

Has anyone gone this route? I've asked this question before., but not exactly how I should pay for it (via credit card - VISA - online, I am the applicant in the US.) Any input would be greatly appreciated.

For the RPRF part, would I still hit "Mississauga" or "Buffalo" now? I haven't gone through with it yet to see what just the RPRF receipt looks like, but clearly I have nothign to fill in as I haven't yet sent the application (Client ID wise.). :-/

I was wondering something similar..if the RPRF could be paid AFTER filing but BEFORE they request it?! We did not have enough $ to pay it on filing, but want to avoid delays at the end...

I was told originally in a different thread awhile back that it would be okay (well, no one thought there would be any trouble). Can't remember now if that was confirmed. I know mailing has been confirmed, not sure about the attaching with first receipt upon filing though. We've been delayed 5 months and counting waiting on the FBI request (well, 7 months total). Originally, not paying that fee was a better idea as we were trying to send out the package ASAP. Now, we'd rather just pay it now to avoid any further delays.

I paid ours in two parts because I didnt have the funds all on one card to do so. Then sent in the applications with both receipts. We got sponsorship approval this week so I dont anticipate it being a problem.

I paid mine after it was half way being processed in the visa office.I just send a copy of the recipt to both offices,mississauga and visa office i got an email confirming recipt of it from both.

Would I then tick "Mississauga" as where it needs to be sent, not Buffalo since it hasn't been processed yet? Good to hear I'm not alone

I ticked Mississauga and just sent a copy of the recipt to the visa office they said they got it,in both places.(confirmed from them by email)

Sounds perfect. Thanks for the confirmation. I'll be paying within the next 7 days (paycheck! ) and I'll see if any problems arise. Hopefully not!

I paid mine 9 months into my application process just to save me some extra processing time. I did the payment online via VISA and clicked CPC-M for the processing office.

Now, I sent a direct copy of the receipt via mail to CPC-M and I faxed a copy to my VO in Port of Spain letting them know that the fees have been paid. I have included both in and out of Canada parties in the mails and faxes just so no one gets caught up in the loop.

My partner called CIC in Canada about a week or so ago and they have acknowledged receipt of the fees and have sent it down to the VO.

Just be sure to keep copies of all your receipts and payments in case the VO comes back and says that you haven't paid the fees.
