Passports to CPC Ottawa- June 2017

My application was filed by an attorney and I do not have online access to my application. My attorney says that it is taking upto 6 weeks for passports to be printed/returned so he is advising me to wait.

Just called cic. Agent said they have not sent back my passport yet.

Anyone from the USA, who got approval on or after June 30th, and got their return tracker activated as well?

I have sent in my passport to Ottawa from USA

PPR- June 21, 2017
PP sent - June 27, 2017
PP delivered - June 28, 2017
Approved - Waiting
Tracker activated- waiting

Anybody have an idea how long it takes for a family of 5 to get their passports back? Our passports were delivered on June 20. Hopefully, we get approved today.

I submitted with family (total of 3). you should get it this week or early next week.

Passports sent: June 01
Passports delivered to CPC Ottawa: June 02
Application approved: July 05

I sent my passport on June 29th but the tracking only updated once to "item in transit" on June 30th and no movement since!! I thought with express post they actually scan it so we get updates no? This is so annoying given how much it cost to send it!

Could anybody suggest me, if we need to write only the primary applicant name in Annex A form or include the dependents as well.

As I see the email for PP request has only my name with UCI nbr as am the primary applicant.

I sent mine with only primary applicant name. Make sure it matches the name on the passport. I think instructions also say that it should be name of primary applicant only.

In the update on your mycic account, it said approved? Before this update, at any point in time, did you get an update saying that it was in the process of being sent for printing or something like that?

It said updated yesterday and it changed to approved today.
I did not get any information about the process. I called cic and the guy said he did not think there would be any message such as sending to printing room. The guy said watching for return tracker would be the best way.
