Passports to CPC Ottawa- June 2017

Hi,

I received Passport request on May 30th.
Sent the passports to CPC Ottawa on June 01.

My passports (and other documents) were received by CPC ottawa on June 2nd 2017.
I have not received them back yet and even Return Envelope tracking # is not showing as activated.

My case was filed by an Attorney and I do not have any way to check the case status online.

Is this the time when I should contact CIC or CPC Ottawa? Which number to call? And what information they expect from the caller before sharing the case details.

Got Approval today! For once it seems like CIC is practicing FIFO. All June 19 PP getting approval today it seems.

PP sent: Jun 16
PP received: Jun 19
Approved: Jun 30
PP return: Waiting for tracker to be activated.......

My online details never looked as good.

As far as I know .. there are no emails Sent..Your My CIC status is updated and tracker would be activated ..

Could talk to an agent some minutes back. She told me that they have received the passports and case is still in Open status. She could not tell me much. I am wondering what it should be that my case is still in Open status.

Does this ever happen that after Passport request (and submission of Passports) we dont get a COPR?

Passport sent June 8, delivered june 12. Not even approved on CIC account yet. I call them almost everyday. Yesterday, she said, passport still waiting for printing. This is killing me now.

Good news is at least now they say they have your passport and its in waiting room rather saying they are not sure about your passport . I'm sure you'll be getting an approval real soon.

Not that I've heard. They request for passport to do stamping. Everything else is already been done. So you're approved it's just that your cic account will show approval once they have comepleted stamping. If you've made it this far you'll get the copr too.

I just called them and on phone message it says, application is approved. However, I could not speak to an agent.. High volume of calls..
