The date my application said approved in MyCIC. Honestly there's not much you can do but wait. Do you have an emergency and need it back?

Yes, really,,, my spouse who has got visa from India and booked tickets on January 10th, I need to get it back atleast on the first week of January, it's been a month and a week since my passport got delivered at visa office Ottawa

Sorry to hear this- now I hope yours is a 'flexible' ticket? Besides, it's Christmas and New Year time and expect delay in postal deliveries.

Tickets are not flexible,need to cancel with 400CAD loss m gonna send an email Monday morning

Yes,in fact got an email from cic that my application has been approved on December 8
