Passports to CPC Ottawa- July 2017

My application was approved on September 25th and waiting for activation of tracker.. hope will be get it soon.

We have the same timeline. Tracker activated same day. Hopefully will get it today, 26th.

so I submitted my passport on the 12th of this month and called them today
they said it's printed and everything is ready to dispatch to you
upon further asking the agent said it's been sitting here for the last 2 days waiting to be sent out
does anyone know how long do they take to dispatch passports after they pint the p.r on them?

Check after 6.30 PM whether the return tracker will be activated?

Did you guys fill up the address part on the return envelope?
The guy at Canada Post got angry for not listening to him and filling the address, but the instructions said do not fill it.

No..It should not be a problem as they would paste their sticker on top of that.No, the address on the return envelope should not be filled out

We did not fill anything. And we told the salesperson, that we will follow the instructions. So he obviously was mad and was telling that he had worked there for 25 years! And when we asked can we get the tracking number for the return envelope, he said no and after sealed the bigger envelope.

Now..we are not sure what do since we won't have tracking updates fir the return envelope..

You should have taken a photo of return envelope label. That would be sufficient to track it.

Wow, am sorry to hear that. Look on your receipt, if the return tracking number is there. It was on ours. Otherwise, you will have to estimate the timing. Track your package until he reaches Ottawa, then after that keep checking your gckey/mycic for updates. Based on the timeline, they are taking 2-3 weeks to process PRVs and COPRs. When they have approved your application, it will show in your account.In addition, it will show the counterfoil created.Normally, after it has been approved, It will be shipped a day or two after.

We were desperate since the salesperson said "Canada Post is not responsible for delivering it to you" ... but fortunately, a lot of people confirmed that the address should not be on the return envelope.

No, there is nothing on the receipt..we just have a tracking number toward CPC-Ottawa, but nothing from return envelope.

We definitely should have take a picture! But usually the salesperson always was giving us the tracking number.. So we were not expecting that -.-
