Passports to CPC Ottawa- July 2017

Hi,

For people living in Canada, Do we need to apply for PR card separately? Or is it done automatically while doing the landing at border?

It is automatically done at the land border

My passport is delivered on the 28th. I called them yesterday and they didn't say anything about Copr printed but mentioned its in the queue and you should see something by the 18th. Hope it helps ppl with pp delivered as 24th or 25th

Mine got delivered on the 28th as well. hope we can both see something by the 18th! finger crossed!

Our passport got delivered on August 10. Now the waiting game begins.

I sent my passport on the 24 and reached Ottawa 25, however I called last Friday and they said they got it on the 28 and now it's in the printing room... no updates after that... Let's see!

I have heard people (New Delhi Visa office) saying that a 'Document Section' with the travel document# appearing in the CIC account. However, i have not heard people saying from Ottawa visa office.

I would say as long as you see our status "Approved", you need not bother on the 'Document Section'

People who have your Passport stamped and CoPR from Ottawa should be able to confirm.

My passport is being processed in Ottawa office and on approval, i also got document number in my CIC account

Mine pp was delivered on 31st July. I called cic today, as told my PP was sent to printing room on 4th august. She never told me if it was approved and told to wait 1-2 weeks.

I have just checked and my tracker got activated and says delivery in-transit item processed at Mississauga. There is no information when it was picked up from Ottawa. Finally its happening. Good luck everyone.

Did anyone notice the time at which usually the applications are approved?
