Just logged into the CIC - it says Updated and when I went to Check Status and Messages I did not see any changes but once i went back to my portal under details it says 'Approved'

Did not get any email for this update - return tracker not activated yet.

Good to know that they have started working on 19th Jan applications.
Ghost email will come some time later and return tracker might get activated by tomorrow.

Congrats. Your application is now approved. Wait for some time (few minutes to a couple of hours), everything in the inside table will become passed/completed/approved.

Got my passport back along with COPR today. Planning to do landing in Carway this Saturday. Will let you guys updated when I am done with the landing formalities

Congrats! How many days did it take in your case to get back the Passport? Also, do you get a visa stamp in passport or just a document under COPR?

Sent it on Jan 14th reached ottawa the next day. My visa was dated Jan 19 so only 4 days. They sent it back Jan 25 and Canada post dropped it in my mail box this morning

2 pages of COPR one with photograph one without photograph. Visa sticker attached on Passport category Immigrant. Validity one year after the date of my medical. 4 pages of landing instructions and details and Good luck wishes for my future in Canada. Nothing fancy

Actually when I read the sentence "We wish you a pleasant journey and every success in your future in Canada" i feel kinda sad. Dunno why but after all of my effort, hard work, dreams and anxiety finally Canada officially welcome me as part of it.

Application closed and approved - 20th
Tracker activated and arrived at my town - 21st

Pretty fast! I live in Southwestern Ontario.

I did my landing at Fort Erie today! I am now a permanent resident in Canada
