Yes exactly, I edited my response later on. Your child is a citizen already, he isn't part of your PR application.

Your passports maybe ready for pickup by Canada Post or may have already been picked up. rest depends on Canada Post. Your return tracker will get activated once its en route

My daughter is a citizen and i didn't send her passport. I just sent mine and my spouse.

Thanks for the reply and hope you have included your daughter in you application processing as accompanying child and paid CAD150, correct?

Meanwhile, I called CIC help center and lady mentioned me no use of sending Canadian passport/copies which they don't take it into account.

I am including a letter saying that my Canadian born child passport will not send for visa stamping/processing. would it be nice to include a letter? Please let me know your thoughts.

I added my daughter in my application but i didn't pay any fee for her (she is 1 year old).

I did not include a letter because I figured since she is already a Canadian citizen (she also has a Canadian passport), she will not be needing any stamp on her passport.

I am currently waiting for my and my spouse's PR cards

You're overthinking it. They know your child is Canadian because you mentioned her nationality in your application. They do not need it. Logically think, why do they need it? She's Canadian. Also surprised you had to pay any money for her. She's already Canadian. Why would they want money? To process her how?

Thank you both for your responses and I sent passport, photos, annexture A and letter (in case) with exception of Canadian passport.

I have attached support letter because I have included my child as accompanying and paid cad 150.

I see that almost everyone who has submitted their timeline on this thread is CEC and in Canada already.

Does anyone know the timeline for FSW US applicants to get the PP back/ approval email? Mine was delivered in Otawwa on 3/27 and still no update yet.

Same here. I expect to see some movement Monday or Tuesday. It seems they're taking about a week to process passports.

Update:

My passport arrived in Ottawa on 20th and on 21st my status changed on my account.
I got my passport back on the 23rd.
On 24th I called IRCC to book an appointment to the interview and do the 'landing' in Calgary.
I got an email today (30th) booking my interview for 4th of April.

Everything was extremely fast!

My CIC account updated overnight to show the application is approved and background check complete. Return tracker hasn't been activated yet.
